Carthage has more than 130 student clubs and organizations through which students can get involved, explore possible careers, meet other students, work closely with faculty advisors, and perform customer service. Alpha Epsilon Delta
Alpha Epsilon Delta is a national health pre-professional honors society dedicated to the encouragement and recognition of excellence in preprofessional health scholarship. This chapter particularly focuses on forming mentorship relationships between upperclassmen and underclassmen in pre-professional health specialties at Carthage College. This chapter is distinguished from other health organizations by focusing on upperclassmen leadership, professional development and opportunities pertinent to professional school studies, and building mentee relationships with underclassmen.
Pre-Health Club
Pre-Health Club is open to any student interested in the healthcare field! The club hosts speakers, admissions reps, and practicing professionals in many professional health fields.
Biology Club
Biology Club aims to get students more involved on campus and within the Biology Department. The club hopes to give guidance to students in terms of what classes to take, important deadlines and requirements in the major or a specific focus such as pre-health, and to share opportunities present on campus.
Pre-Occupational Therapy Club
Join the Pre-OT club to learn more about the field of occupational therapy! The club meets bi-weekly to discuss the Pre-OT four-year plan, volunteering, observation hours, graduate program requirements, and more. The club leadership often organizes group outings to volunteer in the community and help members gain valuable experiences for graduate school applications.
Pre-physician assisant club
The Pre-Physician Assistant Club meets to support students who are interested b the physician assistant profession.
