How to Apply as a Veteran
Carthage is known for its personalized education environment where the average class size is just 17 students. Choose from more than 75 majors and special programs at the undergraduate level. Carthage also offers graduate degrees in education, business, and music. Instructors often provide personal contact information, allowing you to continue your educational experience beyond the classroom setting.
Admissions
To apply for admission to Carthage, complete the online application. There is an application fee of $35, which is waived if you interview in person.
Submit your official transcripts from previous colleges you’ve attended. If you do not have previous college experience, you should submit your official high school transcripts. Transcripts should be sent to:

Scholarships & Financial Aid
More than 90 percent of Carthage students receive financial aid. Many veterans receive educational benefits that cover the entire cost of tuition, and some veterans receive partial tuition benefits and subsidize the remaining cost with federal aid. In addition, Carthage offers competitive, need-based scholarships.
